One of the core aims of Turimo is to support farmers by providing both financial access and practical farm training. Through tailored loan solutions and continuous learning opportunities, Turimo helps farmers and buyers strengthen their operations and grow sustainably.

Farm loans are available through Turimo to meet different financing needs. For longer-term funding, Turimo works with trusted banking partners to offer loans with repayment periods of more than three months. Turimo facilitates the loan application process by connecting you with these partners; however, applicants are still required to meet the individual banking partner’s conditions in order to qualify.

For short-term financial needs, Turimo offers microloans with repayment periods of less than three months. These loans are designed for quick repayments and are ideal for facilitating supply orders as well as supporting fast buyer and supplier activities. To qualify for a Turimo microloan, applicants must be verified farmers or buyers, must have been actively trading on the Turimo platform for at least six months, and must maintain a credit score above 80 percent.

Farmers and buyers can apply for a loan directly through the Turimo platform. During the application process, applicants will be required to indicate the nature of the loan, whether it is a banking partner loan or a Turimo microloan, the purpose of the loan, the date by which the funds are needed, the amount requested, the repayment period, the amount to be paid per repayment period, and the security being offered for the loan. Once the application is submitted, a confirmation message will be sent, and a member of the Turimo customer care support team will contact the applicant for follow-up and further guidance.

Beyond financial support, Turimo also provides access to training and capacity building through Turimo Campus. This learning platform allows farmers and buyers to access self-paced training courses, interact with other users on the platform, and request Turimo-facilitated in-person training sessions. Participants can also take part in national, regional, and international workshops, trainings, and conferences. Turimo Campus is delivered through an external training solution that will be linked on the platform.
